US Bank gives small business owners an opportunity to win free radio advertising

Published:

Small businesses are constantly seeking out ways to get a leg up on the competition. This is why the U.S. Bank recently announced it will provide small business owners in 12 cities throughout the country the opportunity to win $5,000 in radio advertising for their company and a donation of $5,000 for a charity of their choice.

U.S. Bank has been looking for ways to stimulate small business growth throughout the U.S., which is why small business lending at the bank increased nearly 4 percent in the second quarter of 2012.

“Although small business owners have been concerned about the economy, the silver lining is that tough times have inspired tremendous innovation and creativity,” said Rick Hartnack, vice chairman of consumer and small business banking at U.S. Bank.

The participating cities in the contest include Boise, Idaho; Cincinnati, Ohio; Kansas City, Missouri; Omaha, Nebraska; Portland, Oregon; Sacramento, California; St. Louis; Denver; Los Angeles; Milwaukee; Minneapolis-St.Paul and Seattle. Small business owners have until August 19 to complete their submissions. The contest also gives small business owners the opportunity to receive a number of other monthly prizes.

Some free advertising could go a long way for small business owners, but they also must make sure they are protected in case problems arise. With small business insurance, owners can breathe easy knowing they are financially protected in the event of a lawsuit.
